Vocational Rehabilitation / Disability Evaluation by Dr. Pat Rose

On April 16, 2021, Dr. Pat Rose spoke for NAPS on the topic of evaluations. Pat has 24 years of experience as a psychologist in private practice. The types of evaluations she discussed included Disability Determinations Services (DDS), Rehabilitation Services Administration (vocational rehabilitation), Department of Child Safety, Adult Protective Services, Native American Tribes needing vocational evaluations, and individuals needing Learning Disability evaluations. She framed her evaluations with attention to the PURPOSE (why is the evaluation being requested?), AUDIENCE (who will read the report?), and MOTIVATION (of the client in undergoing the evaluation).
